“When I was reflecting on the Sing4Wellness concert I attended, words that came to mind were laughter, relaxation, learning, and sharing. The program began with a beautiful vocal solo which brought my focus to the moment and away from the concerns of a busy day. Next, we all enjoyed a humorous, musical skit which produced much laughter. What I enjoyed most though was the learning of what I will call musical, vocal exercises. It was so fun to sing, practice, and share the fun together. I remember looking over and seeing my friend's often stoic husband, with a big smile on his face! Be Delighted focusses on wellness found through singing, the impact of creativity on health, and reflections about a variety of areas, like depression or forgiveness. Just talking to Andrea on the phone, sharing poetry, insights and singing long distance, began to change my view on things that were going on with me. The biggest thing was talking to her about anything that was bothering me. The talking helped me to deal with issues that have bothered me all these years. I was amazed that someone this young could be so knowledgeable in life and share her personal feelings, her music talent, and her commitment to helping people everywhere with her music programming through Be Delighted.
